Modern well-contructed cottages
Each of the five (5) main cottages is named after a Chinese Miner who worked in the region´s tin mines over a century ago: Ah Moy, Ah Ping, Fon Hock, Chintock and Ah Back. The Settlers Hut is a renovated (historic) hut on our property.
The cottages were built by Graham using timber and stone sourced either directly from our property or from the local region. We generate our own power, harvest rain water and recyle waste water for use on the organic garden. The cottages and Settlers Hut are well constructed and insulated, with double-glazing ensuring a comfortable temperature all year round. The gas-fired heater and electric blankets makes for a cozy stay in the coldest winter!
