North East Rail Trail

The Dorset North East Rail Trail developed by Scottsdale Rotary Club follows the old railway corridor from Scottsdale to Tulendeena.

Access the route from Billycock hill, just 5km from Tin Dragon Cottages, then enjoy a slow downhill ride into Scottsdale.

Picturesque Scenery and Heritage

This 26km rail trail follows an abandoned railway line between Billycock Hill and Scottsdale weaving its way through spectacular cuttings and forests then lovely farmland and a bit of Scottsdale industry for the last 10kms. With occasional glimpses over the valley below out to the ocean, and a bit of well interpreted history lying on the side of the track this trail makes a great ride from those just looking to do a few kilometres with the kids through to those willing to tackle the full length out and back.
