Sad Alpaca Story

In the early evening, just after a noisy thunder storm, Samantha gave birth to a white male cria. We named him Rumbles. He was wet and shivering, and possibly a couple of weeks premature.

We love exploring Tasmania and winter is the best time of year to view rugged pristine rivers and waterfalls. Of course, we really enjoy staying with other small accommodation providers, too!

Alpaca Yarn for Covid Times

During the 2020 lock-down at we reached out to a large textile company for assistance with processing alpaca yarn. We needed advice to solve a problem with static build-up in our alpaca fibre processing mill.
