Saturday 31st October 2020 was a big day for our herd and for us! We were shearing alpacas at Tin Dragon Cottages.

The rain forest has almost reclaimed the the Don and Duco mines. But you will enjoy the short walk and the glow worms!

The Anchor mine and its stampers have had a checkered history from opening in 1880 to finally closing in 1996. We encourage you to visit this interesting site and to read about the mine’s history.

The walk to Cube Rock near South Mt Cameron has been regularly traversed for over 100 years. Legend has it that Thylacines were commonly seen along this track.
