Wave Beach Painting Retreat – acrylic
During this Wave Beach workshop, you will learn and be guided to paint confidently with a minimalistic colour palette. You will be shown several different techniques that achieve realistic results with easy to follow steps.

Seacapes Painting Retreat – acrylic
In this workshop you will produce a painting from start to finish using ideas gleaned from digital images of Binnalong Bay, Bay of Fires coastline. So the theme is coastal, with an emphasis on water and rocks.

A coloured pencil workshop that caters for all levels of art experience seeks to raise one’s awareness of the importance of forest floors in the landscape while at the same time revealing the role of colour as both a personal and emotional response to what we see, not only in the landscape, but our own lives. Participants will explore the broad range of materials on offer, experience a unique session of colour therapy, a forest walk, ‘subject’ gathering, the creation of 4 coloured pencil artworks and discover how to draw ‘silence’.

Winter Fungi – Photography
As the days get shorter and wetter, the fungi starts popping up all over the place. And there is no better show of mycoid colour than in North East Tasmania. So you will venture out into the forests with Luke to track down and capture the best of the North East’s fungi!

Where are the art workshops?
Tin Dragon Cottages in North East Tasmania in the heart of North East Tasmania is a beautiful natural setting for a cosy painting or photography workshop. So, you will find your “inner artist” in a relaxed, safe and creative environment. We are taking just 12 participants (minimum four) for each workshop, so you can experience personal one-on-one painting tuition in our purpose-built workshop space.
